I didn't get a whole lot of time to work on models this week, but I did get some stuff done. Above is the picture of the big bale grapple fork I got built for the 966's loader. I still have to add hydraulic lines and fittings, and then fab a 3 pt hitch on to the back and she'll be ready for sandblasting, primer and paint. I'll sandblast the bad paint job back off the Versatile D-100 at the same time. I should have some free time next week to get the hay cuber finished up, primed and painted so long as the weather stays nice like it is. If not, then I will be putting the Ford Bi-Directional back on the bench, and get that closer to being done. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather (those who have it).

Here is a picture of the IH 656 with its lights on in the dark. I gotta say that it really brings back memories of when I was a kid. Quite often, we would see grandpa comen down the driveway at nite with the lights on, cleaning the driveway out for us. It looked just like this picture. We're having an old fashioned winter up here this year,... we've been getting snow about every other day on average for the last three weeks or so now. I wish grandpa still lived next door to me,... it sure would be much quicker having him plow my driveway than pulling out the snowblower every other day.

Here is an updated photo of the Detroit Diesel that will power the 1/18th scale Hay Cuber. I have the engine mostly finished up and tomorrow I will build the conveyor for the rear of the model and then start prepping it for paint. I will spend the rest of the week building the Dump Cart for the hay cuber, and should have that primed and painted by next weekend. I have the IH 656 all painted and ready to decal. I'll have finished pictures of that posted real soon.
I put all the finishing touches on the "Widow Maker Too" John Deere 8410 pulling tractor today. I photoshopped it into another picture to see what it would look like if it were really tearing down the track with Ironman behind it. She certainly cranks a lot of black smoke out, that is for sure!
